I've never had a facial. What can I expect?
A facial is a relaxing way to get your skin healthier. Facials are for everyone. Each facial will be adjusted to compliment you and your skin's needs. Facials can help treat acne, sun damage, dry or oily skin. For skin troubles that require more care, see our 'clinical services' in the services tab. A facial is 30-70 minutes depending on the facial you've selected. A 'typical' facial includes a deep cleanse, exfoliation, treatment of the skin, a mask and facial massage. Since non of our facials are ever the same, some may include more correction or more relaxation based off what you are looking for and what your skin needs. During this treatment, like a massage, you will undress to your level of comfort. You will be properly draped through the entire session. This allows you to feel more comfortable without the restriction of clothing.
I've never had a massage. What can I expect?
You should arrive 10-15 minute prior as there will be a small amount of paperwork to fill out. This will also allow you time to use the restroom and settle in. You may be asked to select an aroma for your massage- or unscented can be used as well. After reviewing your paperwork, your Massage Therapist will briefly consult with you to ask if there are any areas you would like to work on or avoid.
SWEDISH massage is a light relaxing pressure and great for most people. An excellent choice for first time massage. You will be asked to undress to your level of comfort. You will be properly draped the entire session.
DEEP TISSUE massage is a technique that focuses primarily on the deeper layers of muscles and the fascia. You will be asked to undress to your level of comfort. You will be properly draped the entire session.
EXPRESS massage is a 30 minute treatment used to focus on 1 or 2 problem areas. It is not possible to give an effective full body treatment in this amount of time. You will be asked to undress to your level of comfort. You will be properly draped the entire session.
REFLEXOLOGY is a scientific art based upon the idea that there are places called reflexes on the feet that correspond to the entire body. The practice of applying pressure to the feet or hands creates stress relief in the body that allows for beneficial physiological change. You will remain clothed except for the feet for this treatment.
TRIGGER POINT therapy is a bodywork technique that involves the application of pressure to tender muscle tissue in order to relieve pain and dysfunction in other parts of the body. You will be asked to undress to your level of comfort. You will be properly draped the entire session.
CHAIR massage is a quick fix treatment typically 10 minutes long. You will remain fully clothed.
What lash service is right for me?
If you have light lashes you will love a lash tint. This treatment is great year round but especially in the summer months if you sweat or swim a lot and don't want to worry about mascara.
If you have lashes that come out straight or angle down, you will the the lash lift. This is a 'perm' for your lashes and will give them a natural looking curl. Pair this with the tint for a more no-fuss no-muss treatment.
If you have short lashes, we will recommend our lash growth serum. Stop in or call to inquire.
What is a chemical peel?
I'm interested in a skin care treatment, how do I know which treatment to book?
Book our complimentary consultation. This is a useful tool to figure out which treatment is best for you. Typically there is enough time during the consultation for a peel or other clinical skin care treatment. If you decide on a facial, you will likely need to rebook for a later day due to the length of treatment.

How much do I tip?
a 20% is typically what is left for a service provider. Cash tips are greatly appreciated, but tips may be left on your credit card or gift card as well.
What do I wear?
Something comfortable. After a treatment you may feel too relaxed to bother with extra layers, buttons or straps.
Where do I park?
There is a parking garage right behind the building, or several spots out front. The parking is metered and is $1/hr. Try downloading the app WayToPark to pay from your mobile device.
Can I bring my dog?
Sorry, no. It is against Vermont state regulations to have pets that aren't registered service pets in a spa. It is also distracting to other clients and can take away from our spa atmosphere.
Can my kids come and wait?
Please find child care for when you are in a service. It is important to maintain a comfortable, quiet environment for other patrons receiving treatment.
Should I turn off my phone?
To get the most out of your treatment, it is best to silence your phone to avoid interruptions.
Should I arrive early?
Yes. 10 minutes prior to your appointment is suggested. There may be paperwork for you to fill out, and this gives you a chance to go into your treatment feeling relaxed and not rushed.
